I heard it's also good to throw in a few chunks of lemon into the garbage disposal and let it run to get rid of the nasty odors. It'll also give off a nice, citrusy smell! Haven't tried it yet, though.

Thanks Corina! I use to use swiffer too but hated buying the replacement pads. A pillow case can easily go in the wash and be used over and over again.

I have no tips to share my friend. In fact, I needed these. I had heard about the pillowcase thing with the ceiling fan...I need to try that and save money since I won't have to buy swiffer dusters...

We use our vacuum attachment to dust a lot of things too, but for the ceiling fan I like to make sure I do not miss any bit of dust since it is directly over my bed :-)

I use the vacuum cleaner attachment tools to clean our ceiling fans. And I clean the air duct return vent using the broom.
